Does Anybody Want To Be Senator From Tennessee?

Lamar Alexander the incumbent is ending a long career in the Senate.

Former Governor Bill Haslam decided not to run. Who could blame him? His party dominated by lunatics - is the kiss of death in a red state.

US Rep. Mark Green sounds like a good option.

Phil Roe would be my choice

    U.S. Representative Phil Roe, M.D.

Haslam was a good governor and very conservative. However, I was opposed to him in the Senate because he would be beholding to the Democrats in DC and all of his conservatism would go out the window. He was already campaigning to the left in the last election, which is why Marsha Blackburn won.

    Won't happen, though.

He's too intelligent, and dignified for the job......

Frist blew a golden opportunity in 2005.

McConnell has done a better just of managing a majority.

Had Frist stayed on, he would be a potential 2024 Presidential candidate.

But...he promised to serve only two terms.

He served two terms, and left.

That is so freaking rare these days......

I'd do it but you have to live there. Hey, somebody tell AOC she's a shoe in but she has to resign her NY seat first. Bet she'd go for it.
