Exactly. My condolences to the family, and respect to the dead, but Perot knew the whole time that all he was doing was taking votes from Bush. I read later he did this intentionally because of some grudge he had with the president. And that was before he claimed they were trying to kill him

The cesspool of Deep State, bureaucrat Washington and biased media of today didn't exist.
The cesspool of the Deep State Washington existed, but at least back then the MSM had actual reporters, integrity and some respect for getting to the truth left in them.

    Those days are gone.

I'm no fan of the Bushes, especially H.W., but in his later years Perot is reported to have regretted essentially helping Clinton win the election.

Dying at 89, H. Ross Perot, a billionaire, lived a long and prosperous life. RIP.

    Jim
Few people have had such a lasting, lifetime effect as has Perot. I mean FEW. Washington and Jefferson and Lincoln, are a few that are similar. Or Hamilton.

Why? The modern undemocratic Democrat Party, is what it is, because of Perot. William Jefferson Blythe Clinton was, and is, PURE EVIL. Such people arise periodically; and in modern America, they find opportunity more in the Democrat Party than the others.

Huey Long was someone similar; but was (mercifully for us) assassinated before he could Transform the party. Roosevelt had lasting impact, but Roosevelt was decidedly milquetoast compared to Long, or Wilson, or, to come, Clinton.

Clinton was a long-shot. Support for GHWB was miles wide, but inches deep...but he had enough. Until Clinton, with his genius for evil, found a way to divide the opponent's support.

Enter Perot, a longtime Friend of Bill. And yes, you will know, should know, a man by the company he keeps.

Perot and his stunt put Bubba in the White House; and Bubba and his lieutenants RADICALIZED that party. It was always leftward-leaning; but before Klinton it was not Anti-American Left.

I do not wish Perot eternal peace. I wish him in the Ninth Circle of Hell.

    RIP Ross Patriot.
YOU were too advanced for our thinking at time.
He didn't do that, but he was in the Navy from 1953-1957.

He did have a jailbreak done on an Iranian prison in 1979-1980 though. Some of the hostages were his workers.

Yeah, Google is going down, they don't even host a decent version of Jailbreak.

    Ross Perot:

Yeah I blame him for getting The Impeached One elected, but he was the kind of boss you'd love to work for.

my suggestion to you, is you start by reading the Black Jack series of books about the KKK fighting in war zone D. expand those feats of glory by reading anyone who they mentions books. when you get to a bell phone booth on rte 9 in laos, youll understand the complex nature of VN.

Perot graduated from USNA and served in the Navy, but left in 1957. He was a salesman with IBM for a few years and then left to form EDS. EDS' big early success was government contracts, starting in the 1960s. He was in his late 30s and early 40s during the Vietnam War.
