If George Washington Was Not A Terrorist, Neither Are The Baloch

first published on July 8, 2019 by Will

The US has just declared the Baloch separatist groups in Pakistan to be a terror organization. The decision likely came as a deal-sweetener during trade negotiations between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping at the G-20 summit.

The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) separatist rebels carry out attacks against Pakistani military and Chinese industrialist targets along the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project route. They claim that the Pakistani government extracts and sells resources from their province, while they receive no benefit, nor do they have sufficient representation within the government. BLA claims to be protecting its motherland against foreign intruders to protect its people and that international laws allow any person or nation to act in self defense.

Now, after being labeled terrorists by the US, the BLA has written an open letter to President Trump addressing the injustice, citing parallels of their organization with the foundation of of America, la No Taxation Without Representation. The letter reads as follows:

AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP

    Dear Mr.Trump,

Imagine what would have become of what is now the United States if in 1776 France and other European powers had designated George Washington and others as terrorists and joined the United Kingdom to suppress the settlers. The United States would have remained a colony rather than becoming the beacon of democracy and progress.

If George Washington was not a terrorist, neither are the Baloch.

We, the Baloch, have been resisting Pakistans state terrorism with knives and Kalashnikovs for the last seven decades. Armed with the most sophisticated weaponry, courtesy of U.S. military aid, Pakistan military has kidnapped, tortured and murdered thousands of Baloch. They trade the organs of our dead, rape our women and burn our villages.

    Dear Mr. Trump,

The fighter jets and other weaponry which Pakistan is using against the Baloch civilians have been provided by your predecessors. But youve outdone even them. Your administration branded us terrorists. Because we are not ready to let Pakistan and China plunder our resources? Well, we wont. Even if your administration branded every single Baloch as a terrorist, we would keep fighting with our knives and Kalashnikovs.

Its a shame that the champions of a secular and liberal world have failed to extend a helping hand to the Baloch, the only people in the region successfully resisting religious extremism.

    Dear Mr. Trump,

What does the world expect from us? You fight bitter wars for every extra cent and we are expected to remain silent even as our gold, copper, gas, are looted with both hands. Our port line is being used to build someone elses empire. Yet, we are the terrorists.

What shocks me the most is the fact that we have never hurt a single US citizen, and yet we get banned by your administration. Maybe the ban is aimed at luring the Taliban to the negotiation table, or whatever. Its part of the politics. I understand.

Nevertheless, the world leader shouldnt be compromising on secular values for such petty gains. Once you begin sidelining natural allies like the Baloch for petty interests, your enemies would sideline you in no time. There is no problem with your desire for making friends with Pakistan, but do not compromise on your basic values and the essence of your countrys constitution.

    Dear Mr. Trump,

Let me end this letter by telling you what I like most about your country. I love the sense of resistance among the American people. The U.S. citizens have shown to the world once in 1941 and then in 2001 that they do not like to be killed.

Do you know what I like about the Baloch? They dont like to be killed either.
    Yours Truly,

Dr. Allah Nizar Baloch a freedom fighter from Balochistan

    Date: July 5, 2019

We here at Funker530 have followed the Baloch rebels struggle for years. Their tactics are certainly ruthless and they will kill an unarmed Chinese laborer as fast as they will a Pakistani soldier.

Make no mistake, these are not nice guys. They are killers but are they terrorists?

Unlike other militant groups in the region, youll find very little, if any, religious zealotry within the Baloch rebel groups videos and online publications. Their focus is simple: Liberty.

While George Washington would have certainly been considered a terrorist leader by the British at the time, he was seen as a righteous freedom fighter to many of the colonists and is now regarded as one of the greatest Americans whoever lived.

The author is correct, in my opinion. The Baloch rebels are rightly considered terrorist by the Chinese and Pakistan governments, but a terror designation by the US is unjust based on our founding principles.

Trump sees the Baloch rebels as small potatoes, insignificant compared to any trade deal that can be made with China. However, he is likely crushing any chance of obtaining a key ally in the region against our fake ally Pakistan, who shelters real international terroriststo include Osama bin Laden and facilitates Islamist terror groups like Haqqani, HuJI, and LeT.
Violence, naked force, has settled more issues in history than has any other factor, and the contrary opinion is wishful thinking at its worst. Nations and peoples who forget this basic truth have always paid for it with their lives and freedoms. Robert Heinlein

I'm unfamiliar with this group, but I have no doubt politics play against them.

The BLA is not mainstream and does not represent a majority of Baloch people. The Baloch people originally agreed to join Pakistan as part of the independence deal of Pakistan and India, from the British, after WWII. The British mucked up a lot of the ME and Indian subcontinent, but in this case, the Baloch princes made the decision to join Pakistan. I think one prince initially claimed independence, but later joined Pakistan. A small minority of Baloch have resisted and maintained a struggle for independence since the British withdrawal.

The real problem is that this region has the majority of Pakistan's natural gas and coal resources, yet is losing ground economically and is underdeveloped. Obviously, Pakistan is spending it's wealth elsewhere. The Baloch people are poor and getting poorer. Poverty breeds dissent. More and more Baloch may join the movement and make the movement mainstream.

I think the "terrorist" label gets thrown around based on tactics. I don't have any inside knowledge of the BLA tactics, but my feeling is if they are labeled as terrorists, they are probably terrorists in their tactics, regardless of the nobility of their cause.

Right now, this just looks like more endless Mideast mayhem to me.
When Trump leaves office, and the NWO is again in charge, there are many in this Country who will take exception. Guess what label they have reserved for us?
