My problem (this one, anyway, ) is on the TPF side. Since I have the problem on two different computers and three different browsers, I was sure of that, but maybe this further info will help @Calypso Jones and other Admins figure out what's happening. Thanks, @Dan40!
@Calypso Jones, I still cannot see the Members Only forums group and still get the permissions error message whose image I posted above.

@Traddles, has it cleared up yet? 'Cuz I just clicked on all 4 sub-sections, and it worked fine.

2c, AFAIK, I'm the only one experiencing this, and it is some sort of permissions thing with my particular account. I have seen this issue on two different computers and my Android tablet and on multiple browsers.

Let me think on this one. One question, did you log out and clear your browser cache?

@MrMike, I cleared the history stuff on one of the computers. I see this issue on that computer with three different browsers, Vivaldi, Waterfox (Firefox derivative), and Pale Moon.

On the other computer I have to log in every day. I see this issue on that computer with two different browsers, Chrome and IE.

On my Android tablet I see this issue on Chrome and on the Samsung browser.

Being an issue on three different devices and seen via six different browsers I do not think this is browser cache related.

Then it is likely with the membership privilege (access) level associated with your account. That is indeed a forum user admin issue that would need to be fixed.

    lol

notice I didn’t ask you if the computer was plugged in?

I had that happen to me on a online chat with Dell (Overseas call center) and I rolled my eyes and ended the chat. They read service scripts and really don’t know much.

The first level of tech support people - not just at Dell - deal with ultra-basic stuff like that. I work in a tech support group and see the FAQ stuff from others in TS. A significant percentage of solutions for callers are doing firmware updates. There used to be a list making the rounds of the 'net of some of the more amusing questions handled by Compaq TS people. One caller was complaining that the foot pedal didn't work - true or apocryphal, that's .

I got a techie guy, but if I think the prob is connected to the ISP, I call them.

This one guru: "See that thing at the top that looks kinda like a "C" w/an arrow on it? Click that."
