Public funding: NPR vs. Fox News

If taxpayers help fund NPR then why don't taxpayers help fund Fox News? Both are private businesses. Both have a political bias.

"Hereís the chart for NPRís individual member stations: see that direct funding from Federal, State & Local governments made up only 5.8 percent of the stationsí revenue in FY 2008. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) contributed another 10.1 percent, but even if you add those up, thatís still only about 16 percent of the stationsí funding coming directly or indirectly from government sources."

Non-profits make a bundle for the people working there.

Fox is for profit and NPR is for the DNC so it is subsidized.

Have you checked to see how much Planned Parenthood is worth?

$500M last time I looked at their financials.
