    North Dakota compared to Alberta

Gun control supporters have moaned that if only the U.S. had gun control laws like Canada the homicide rate would be lower like Canada. (Never mind that Canada is a much Whiter country than the U.S.)

Why then does North Dakota have a lower gun homicide rate than the province of Alberta to the North?
Isn't North Dakota in the U.S. and Alberta in Canada?

EDMONTON - Alberta recorded the highest rate of firearm-related homicides in the country in 2017, mostly due to the rise of illegal guns and gangs.

According to numbers released by Statistics Canada on Wednesday, Alberta’s rate for gun-related homicides was 1.19 per 100,000 people in 2017, compared to 1.04 in 2016.

North Dakota's homicide rate in 2017 was 1.3 and that includes ALL homicides, both committed with a gun and not.

Stop trying to confuse things by quoting facts. Emotions are all that matter. (wink).

North Dakota does happen to be slightly whiter than Alberta.
