I agree 100%. Get Moslems out of the US and we'd have no reason to worry about terrorism in the US.

We succeeded brilliantly in TAKING Afghanistan.

BUT....NO ONE, has ever been successful at holding that nation, which really is the "Bunghole of the World....."

And, speaking of "Walls," we need to wall that place off from the rest of the world. Just let the Afghanisavages slaughter each other over their mine-infested deserts and poppy fields.

The only "exports" from that shit hole nation, are heroin and terrorism.....

Even the 19th Century British saw Afghanistan as an outpost against the Russian Empire. Our own heiristocracy sees it as a useful place to renew the lucrative and safe (for their gutless sons) Cold War against Russia and even China. That's why the HeirGuardsman and Darth Evader picked Dr. Condoleeza Rice, a professor of Russian Studies who knew little about anything else, as National Security Advisor.

I read an interesting post/article where the author pointed out that the Taliban IS NOT negotiating with the Kabul government, which they strongly feel is illegally formed. Their negotiations are only aimed at all foreign forces leaving their country so they can once again bring Sharia forward as the only law.

We need to leave. If anything else comes from there, do a flyover and turn much of the goat and kiddie humpers land into glass.
Take a good look at that land.

Because that's what we will look like in a hundred years. Once they take over and the slaughtering burns out.

We should have toppled the Taliban and left.

And when they put another group of mullahs in charge, go in, blast them dead again...and leave again.

Lather, rinse and repeat. Until there are no more mullahs. The Chinese want to expand? Let them have that dump. It would improve that dump and the world.

The strike-and-retreat strategy would have saved billions of dollars and thousands of lives.

That would probably be even MORE expensive in lives and resources.

Now, if we simply responded to any transgressions with carpet-bombing campaigns. But, that results in collateral damage, and the deaths of innocents.

In many ways, Afghanistan isn't even a "nation," but a collection of very different "Tribes."

We just need to understand it for what it is, and, always has been: The BUNGHOLE of the World.......

    Doubtful.

How expensive was the loss of the World Trade Center?

How many repeats would we have seen if we'd just prayed for a humble spirit to bear it?

The problem with leaving after 'toppling the Taliban,' is that the Taliban is still there.

Toppled, perhaps, but not completely DEFEATED.

Thus, when we leave, they storm back in to power.
