to keep all bugs at bay ( should read, they will light on unprotected animals and people ) purchase orange box only bounce drier sheets. before putting on your socks rub a new sheet for both feet into everywhere, between toes especially, and progress up to knees. stand up after putting in shoes.
drop draws. take new sheet and go from knees to mid belt. hitch up draws.
strip torso. new sheet on torso including arms shoulders and hand and between fingers.
re-gear. new sheet entire head and neck overlapping top of shoulder area. take the sheets you used and add a new sheet to each and put the pairs in top of socks and two back pockets.
either do this or aquire a taste for french mullberies.

    Hey, Karl!

Why don't YOU come with ME?

I'm going to Alaska. In June.

    On a motorcycle.

You've got time - to learn to ride. You can buy a used machine cheap.

And you've got a good reason to want to go to Alaska. There's money there for truckers. BIG money.

This is a way to get the lay of the land.

Be about a 2500-mile trip...take about a week at least to get from Moscow, Idaho, to Tok, Alaska.

Go get a 250-cc dual-sport, street legal...load it up with a bedroll and tent and rain gear...come along.

in the dark, always look just to the left or right of what you are trying to see, not directly at it. you will see it clearer, [out of the "corner" of your eye] than looking directly at whatever. flashlights destroy your night vision and do more to show others where you are than to help you see your target.

very true. in fact, in a home invasion scenario, you dont want the criminal to know where you are, so by placing a flashlight on the bed, pointed towards the door, as you lie in wait to ambush the perp. is much better/safer than holding it.

it will blind the criminal while illuminating him for you.

btw, no words, no speech, just shoot/strike w/o warning.

and hope its not the wife who decided to use the hallway crapper for some unkown reason.
( i almost cut one down with a 10mm once. thought she was still asleep beside me. as i walked past the crapper she appeared to my left. i had the muzzle aimed at her and took every nano milimeter out of my colt ) one micro second from death, and she said, " ooo, dont scare me " she dint see my handgun was about to blow out her liver

its only fun if you catch the dogwood in bloom, or the aspen turning yellow, or listening to bacon frying, or snow falling and sounding like bacon frying.
