Did you just use the word "principled" and the words "Ted Cruz" in the same sentence?

He will always be eligible. There is no upper age limit on natural born citizens running for President. Jimmy Carter could run, per the 22nd Amendment.

Are you really suggesting that what is "best for America" is Ted Cruz primarying President Trump in 2020?

Why? So he could be an anti-Trumper like the loser Romney?

Ted Cruz was so anti-Trump in 2016 that he named Carly Fiorina his running mate when he had no chance of getting the GOP nomination!

In 2016, Ted Cruz stabbed Americans in the back.

    That's exactly the suggestion.
No matter what, or how much he says he supports trump in 2020. PK has an agenda . It's a clear one , one that has never changed since 2015.

In that case, why are you starting a thread about Cruz and what he did during the last presidential campaign?

You come across like Pelosi and Schumer supporting border security but opposing the wall.

Somehow the prospect of hurting your feelings seems kinda cruel.

Tell me you want me to continue and I will.

    Otherwise, don't tempt me, okay?

Not with the wishes of the GOP delegates, who were chosen by the people.
His failure to back the peoples' choice for president has left a visible scar on Cruz.

I guess he figured Donald would lose and all would be forgiven and forgotten.

I was a strong Cruz supporter in the beginning, as were many of us here.
I think he will make a fine SCOTUS justice.

But there will always be a doubt in my mind when i visualize the remembrance of him up there at the podium refusing to support President Trump and the thereby refusing to support the values of those who elected him.
Trump stupidly, and viciously asserted that Ted Cruz's father was involved in a Cuban conspiracy behind the Kennedy assassination, now if he had done that to you, accusing your father of same, are you actually expecting us to believe you'd endorse such an asshole, seriously?
