Most of the Brits (not counting Scots) I worked with spoke clear and understandable except for one English vendor. I listen really hard and tried for a week but couldn't understand one sentence that guy said. Fortunately he wasn't overly sensitive about it and we communicated through some others who seem to understand him, I think.

But I'm not really talking about manner or colloquialisms, it's really something a bit more vague, as if UK English isn't very visceral, or just off putting in it's tone sometimes. Or maybe we Americans just start hearing aristocratic English from the movies when reading postings from the UK.
The American accent I’m told is made up from the West Country spoken like I do. I assure you I can sound like Terry in this video, of course I can milk it (put it on thick) if I like and you’d never understand me.

    enjoy this (outsiders)

I think it's starting to sound more like New York as people move there or commute back in forth to NYC, but that doesn't help either. lol

Sometimes stuff stinks, and we have to pray or hope things will work out.

Britain under Tony Blair signed the lisbon agreement which gave each E.U. member state free movement within the block. At the time the British people had no idea of what the implications were. Since that time waves of Eastern European’s, balkans, and every other race including the African and Asian commonwealth countries have had free access to live here.
In 2016 we voted to leave the E.U. and get our border control back.

America needs a wall... it needs severe passport and border control or the America you know now will be gone in 20 years just like the Britain I knew in my youth has gone forever.
