Obviously not a very well written Bill.

My bet is that it is all for "show," and that the two items were linked, as a "poison pill" deal....

Where I first heard of e-cigarettes, it seemed inhaling and exhaling plain water vapor was silly as hell.

Then I learned it is all about the many additives that e-cigarettes will hold. Then I realized it is just STUPID.
I need to see if the tobacco companies own stock in the companies that make these smoking 'alternatives'.

It seems like a bait and switch to me.

Attaching unrelated amendments to a bill happens all the time. My guess is someone added E-cigs to appease tree huggers/anti-vape zealots, making the primary initiative more palatable.

Sure they do. Where do you think the nicotine comes from?

And why shouldn't they sell a product, no matter how stupid, if some dumbass wants to buy it?

Fact of the matter is that those vape things are far less harmful that tobacco.

You mean like... a surfboard, a wet suit, those polycarbonate lenses in her plastic framed glasses, the interior fittings of her Leaf, and the oil based paints on her face, and the synthetic fibers in her clothing?

There is an ad running now for Fl's Amendment 3. The ad admits that the amendment is confusing but claims 3 is good for you and me.

    Bullshit.

NO CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS UNLESS THE PEOPLE VOTE THEM ON TO A BALLOT.
And after the people vote an amendment on to a ballot, THEN the amendment needs 75% to pass.
Enough with a committee of politicians deciding confusing Constitutional amendments should be on a ballot.

For me there is "no poison" in that amendment. I don't think we should ban e-cigs nor offshore drilling. Many people do not understand there is no "second hand anything" in vaping. (other than C02. (Maybe we should stop breathing?)

What truly amazes me is the number of people who want to ban tobacco but are all in on weed.

This is not a "bill" in the Florida legislature.

This is an Amendment to the Florida State Constitution. The basic law of the state.
