A friend of mine quit drinking when he fell down a flight of stairs drunk while carrying his infant son. That was the defining moment for him. I've met dozens of other drunks who were old and never had a defining moment. That's Karl. He doesn't want to quit drinking, has no intention of quitting drinking, but thoroughly enjoys what he finds here.

I am big and also had some "protection". It did not fare so well, but it probably saved my life.
What was the "protection"? A suit of armor ? A motorcyclists bullet proof outfit?

Not enough practice living in NYC with all the "walk ups"?

Seriously, I don't buy enough oranges for just one day, I buy enough for a couple weeks, why would you not treat all things you consume in the same manner? Especially something that has a really long shelf life such as beer, or whatever you drink.
I love your idea, but here is my answer.

I am trying to cut back.

Any alcohol in the house, I will drink.

I may not be an alcoholic, but I am a problem drinker.
