Sadly, there are many more names that could be added to the wall. The number of veterans exposed to Agent Orange who have subsequently died from various forms of cancer is staggering. On the ship I was on statistically only about 3% of the crew should have developed cancers. So far 30% of us have. Every day I get a new email from the group telling of next another sailor who has died or is near death. Our exposure was limited, a few trips up the Mekong River and the rest of the time 2000 yards off the beach, yet it was still enough to affect us greatly.

To me, those who have died as a result of Agent Orange exposure are just as much casualties of that war as those who stepped on a mine or were shot by a sniper.
