It's 4 minutes long but gives a great deal of insight into the Frogfoot, an aircraft the Russians seem to want to keep around for some time to come.

It gets the job done, and then some. Inventories make replacing downed air-craft easy, try that with NATO inventory. No bells and whistles clutter to get in the way, fast and agile, A-10 jocks look out.

looks to me like Ruskies don't like spending any more than necessary for airport infrastructure. Did you see the goon sticking his head out of the "control tower" window? It was a piece of plywood that you open like a gate to the back yard. Runways look like any New York City street full of potholes.

The armor surrounding the pilots compartment was pretty decent. especially since you are talking about a full on shot from a tank.

A-10 stall speed without flaps = 120mph. With flaps it will be even lower.

Wing area 506 Sq. Ft.

su 25 wing area 324 sq. ft.

Can't find stall speed, but it will be a lot higher than an A10.

What this means is that the A10 can fly slower then the SU 25.

It's not like a car. when the stall speed is reached the plane drops like a rock.

So a tactical advantage is not only higher speed but a lower stall speed. If the A10 slows down enough and avoids armament properly, the commie plane WILL HAVE TO fly right past the A10 and expose it's pretty rear end!

Ok - I watched it on the website. Good video ; I even watched the SU-25 video.

Russia is becoming very comparable to Western militaries - and just as formidable.
