NO! just, NO! not happening!

I am with you GEL. I will starve to death before I start downing bugs on a regular basis. It just ain't gonna happen in my life.

I see those things they have to eat on Survivor in order to win rewards and such. Valutes, or chicken eggs almost ready to hatch, big cockroaches, starfish intestines and crap like that. No Thanks, I will use my last round of .44 mag to end it all before that ever happens. You and I think alike in this. :highfive:

An absolutely unlimited source of protein. They outnumber every other creature on the face of this earth by a billion to one. Clean and grind them up into a paste and you'll never know the difference. Looks like Tofu.

Just a note. Before the arrival of the Spaniards in the New World, all those in present day Mexico and south depended upon insects for protein. Even those living on the coasts who could fish.

There are still places that prepare and sell them as food.

Everyone that says no,should realize they eat bugs everyday. Peanut butter, ketchup, tomato soup , spaghetti , Hersey bars and every processed food has bugs in it. Just look at the federal guide lines on bugs per serving allowed in your food.

What did the bug say to the other bug?

Not me. Nobody bugs me here. That's why I'm all over the place like a bad rash.

I can see the soft Americans here. Not able to survive a doomsday or fight a Muslim and Mexican invasion. Sad times. Americans used to be undefeatable. Now they defeat themselves.

I watch Bizarre Foods With Andrew Zimmern... he goes around the world eating guts, bugs and snouts. He had a show on recently... it the US... where some hipsters were concocting gourmet foods from bugs. I have to admit, they made some croquettes from moth larvae than looked quite edible. Anything deep fried is potentially good.
