Here is why I have said that compromising in politics leads to all manner of evil...

In 2007, HR2640 was passed. Link: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/110/hr2640

Full Title:

To improve the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, and for other purposes.

(seems harmless, right?)

Basically, this allows your medical records and misdemeanor records to be instantly by the federal government.

So with this seemingly harmless bit of legislation Jeffrey Schrader, a Vietnam War veteran, had his ability to own a gun taken away in 2008.

Yes, 2008.

Did anyone notice or hear about it? Maybe a few.

Why did I start with "old news"? So that you will see this next bit of seemingly harmless news and see where this is leading.

Doctors Giving Veterans Questionnaire to Determine Mental Illness (http://www.infowars.com/doctors-giving-veterans-questionnaire-to-determine-mental-illness/)
The FederalJack website (http://www.federaljack.com/?p=17010) has posted a video and form today revealing how the government is attempting to categorize veterans as mentally ill. The video and form follow.

...

Now the doctors are told they have to fill out the “Patient Health Questionnare” (sic) below. If this is in fact a legitimate document, it will facilitate the effort to disarm America’s veterans.

They were taught to kill, first ones that will lose their ability to own guns.

How does one get adjudicated as mental defective?

(iv) A record that identifies a person who has been adjudicated as a mental defective or committed to a mental institution, consistent with section 922(g)(4) of title 18, United States Code, and whose record is not protected from disclosure to the Attorney General under any provision of State or Federal law.

Was Brandon Raub committed to a mental institution when they arrested him?

Yes. He was committed for a 90 day eval, but his attorney got it in front of a judge who said it was arbitrary and he felt that "mental health" had nothing to do with it and that he was being punished for unpopular speech.

So, does the fact that he was committed make him ineligible to own or carry, according to that legislation?

And, does "adjudicated as a mental defective" mean by a judge?

Yes, a judge may weigh in. Even in criminal cases where we try to get them a mental dismissal a judge can say its all happy horseshit.

I forgot to add....when police are interrogating you and offer you a soda, don't take it. They're just trying to get your fingerprints.

And the most important thing to remember: they are legally allowed to lie! They cannot offer you a deal for your testimony.

Only the DA's office may do that!

It also just came to mind, don't give blood at the blood bank. Police may use blood you "voluntarily surrendered" for DNA evidence against you.

Thank you, Dick Wolf, for keeping the public informed.
